SPORTING A NEW NAME, VISION, AND REMODELING IMPROVEMENTS, CareSpot (formerly Solantic Walk-In Urgent Care), is making everyday healthcare even easier for Lake Mary families.

Why the name change? The company wanted a name that represented its broad range of services an the vision of tis new leadership team. The “Care” in CareSpot references a commitment to delivering outstanding compassionate care with exemplary service. “Spot” represents the company’s emphasis on convenience by offering a variety of locations with extended hours; on-site prescriptions, X-rays, and lab work; as well as new online and mobile scheduling tools. The new website allows customers to compare wait times and save a spot in line before walking in, or even schedule an appointment for later.

When a person visits www.CareSpot.com, the website will display the closest CareSopt location and approximate wait time.

“If you are a Lake Mary resident and visit the website, the system will know that you are the closest to that Lake Mary location but will also search for short wait times at other locations nearby,” says Christine M. Paris, regional marketing manager for CareSpot. “Say there’s a 45-minute wait in Lake Mary. The next closest location may have a 15-munite wait. You can choose to visit the location with a shorter wait, or you can save a spot at the location closest to you and wait in the comfort of home until it’s closer to the time to be seen. That means less time in the lobby, which is important if you’re not feeling well.”

Don’t have insurance? You can take comfort in a tiered pricing structure that clearly outlines what a customer can expect to pay. “We have a lot of patients tell us that they not only save money, but save time by going to CareSpot instead of heading to the emergency room,” says Christine. “Many urgent care issues like seasonal illnesses, sutures, sprains, and IVs can be handled at our centers. You can visit CareSpot. Come to learn more about our variety of urgent care services, plus well care services like checkups, school physicals, and immunizations.”
