I am a freelance writing mentor and business coach.

I owned and operated two digital marketing agencies in Orlando, Fla.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, I worked as a media professional — fact checker, researcher, interviewer, copy writer, reporter and editor.

I have edited three magazines and two newsletters as a freelance professional. In addition to working as the editor of a statewide education magazine, I served as Assistant Director of Custom Publishing of Florida Trend magazine and helped edit many publications.

I began my career as a newspaper reporter, and have worked at a public relations firm, as the marketing manager at a chamber of commerce, and as a technical writer with an international government defense contractor, along the way.

While in college, I completed several professional magazine internships and worked part-time as a statistical aide and student copy editor for the publications department of the UF Bureau of Economic and Business Research.
