The Wonders of Peanut Butter
Spread it on a piece of whole grain toast or bagel. Or slather PB on a whole wheat tortilla and wrap it all around a banana.

Speaking of Bananas …
Top whole wheat toast with mashed banana and cottage cheese. Sprinkle cinnamon on top for added flavor. Or make your own fruit smoothie by blending a banana, yogurt and a splash of milk.

Don’t Forget Oatmeal
Enjoy a bowl of instant oatmeal with chopped nutsand raisins, a sliced banana or strawberries. For extra protein, add a scoop of peanut butter to the oatmeal.

Eggs Are Excellent
Have an egg (cooked any way) with a piece of whole grain toast. Or roll up a whole wheat tortilla with scrambled egg and salsa.

Try a New Fruit
Try a pear, some watermelon slices, peaches, a nectarine, berries, a papaya or a plum. Add some yogurt and granola for extra nutrition.

Just Cheese It
Stuff a whole wheat pita with cottage cheese and fruit. Or melt a slice of cheese over sliced tomato on an English muffin.

Or Just Get It at School
Save time and money by stopping by your high school cafeteria before class. And if you qualify for free or reduced price lunch, you probably also qualify for free or reduced price breakfast. Just ask your school’s cafeteria staff for more info.
