Dr. Weinreich’s approach to health care grew from his inspirational childhood experience with world-class physician. As a young boy, Dr. Weinreich was fortunate to have a dedicated and talented pediatrician who provided his care during childhood illnesses. Dr. Weinreich recalls, “He was from Sweden, and he took care of me until I was about 10, often seeing me twice in a day when I was very sick as a child.”
Influenced by his exampled, Dr. Weinreich grew up knowing that he wanted to follow in his hero’s footsteps and work as a primary care physician. After completion of his medical degree, Dr. Weinreich served his residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York. His experiences there reinforced his desire to work with adult patients in the role of a traditional primary care physician and provide the same outstanding level of care he received during his formative years.
“I think that you can talk to just about any of my patients, and, if nothing else, they will definitely tell you that I listen to them carefully with care and concern,” Dr. Weinreich says.
